The first angler of 2015 has arrived at Molyneux to brave the conditions. Here is the lake’s bailiff Wally with the latest;
Another year and another fantastic start to the season here at Molyneux, With conditions very wet and extremely windy at times, our sole hardy angler Kyle Williams has started his season and ours with a bang.
Monday night he landed a lovely mirror of 37lb 8oz, yesterday evening he followed this up with a 32lb 10oz mirror.

Then as the weather stepped up a gear or two last night with steady rain and high winds he was awoken at 4am to the sound of another carp dragging his rig across the lake. He landed this and found it was another decent fish weighing in at 37lb 6oz. Then a couple of hours or so later he topped the lot with a new PBÂ to boot in the shape of a lovely 44lb 12oz beast.

Very well done to Kyle and fingers crossed for the rest of the week… with conditions looking good I don’t think he has finished yet.
