Set in the north of the Poitou Charentes countryside, Kingfisher lake offers exclusive use of the 2.1 acre spring-fed lake and a modern well-equipped gite for up to four people, ideal for families that want a relaxing holiday with a mixture of fishing thrown in.
The lakeside accommodation
The lake is best described as a coarse/carp fishing ‘crossover’ venue, holding a wide range of carp from singles to 40lb yet with nice stocks of coarse fish (zander, perch, tench and roach etc) residing in the lake too.
The comfortable two bedroom accommodation has a large open plan salon with wifi, English satellite TV and all the mod cons you would expect.Ā After a days fishing you can dine inside or outside on the deck, which sits only 8-10 metres from the lake.
Plenty of space to bivvy up too…
Set in over 12 acres, this venue offers a secure, family friendlyĀ fishing holidayĀ with its own prairie, woods and a river, all attracting a rich selection of wildlife. There are mountain bikes available at no extra charge for exploring the area.
