2. Vincons
This beautiful spring fed 12 acre lake is available for exclusive booking for up to six anglers. The scaly mirrors and commons are absolute stunners and most guests catch more fish than they ever thought possible. Arm aching action is the norm here! Add to this a swimming pool and lakeside lodge where you can literally fish out of the front door. For those craving more luxurious surroundings there is a gite just five minutes walk away.
With a week at your disposal you can take break away from the frantic action, chill out and soak up the atmosphere of rural French life. The very picturesque town of Bourges is only 60km away, and rustic villages are literally minutes from the lake making Vincons the perfect holiday venue.

3. Tylans Lake
This venue will impress anyone looking for carp fishing in France with accommodation – the large stone house and its extensive covered terrace overlook a sweeping lawned garden which leads to an idyllic little lake. Previously a private family home for many years, this place really is something special.
The lake is small compared to most at 1.7 acres, but can accommodate up to 3 anglers at any one time, with a variety of swims and a decked area at one end.
The ideal venue for a family get-together or groups of friends, the house sleeps up to 12 people in the 6 bedrooms.

4. Kingfisher Lake
Set in the north of the Poitou Charentes countryside, Kingfisher lake offers exclusive use of the 2.1 acre spring-fed lake and a modern well-equipped gite for up to four people, ideal for families that want a relaxing holiday with a mixture of fishing thrown in. The lake is best described as a coarse/carp fishing ‘crossover’ venue, holding a wide range of carp from singles to 40lb yet with nice stocks of coarse fish (zander, perch, tench and roach etc) residing in the lake too.
The comfortable two bedroom accommodation has a large open plan salon with wifi, English satellite TV and all the mod cons you would expect. After a days fishing you can dine inside or outside on the deck, which sits only 8-10 metres from the lake.

5. Gléhias
Gléhias is set in the heart of the beautiful Bretagne countryside and offers superb French carp fishing in tranquillity and seclusion. Made up of two spring-fed lakes, you book both lakes as a complex.
Gléhias also offers a unique experience in the form of a Floating Cabin housing the lake facilities; toilet, kitchenette and diner with seating that can convert into a sleeping area for two. With the addition of lovely farmhouse accommodation just 500m down the track, this is definitely a venue where you could take the whole family and relax knowing that they’ll be happy while you enjoy some fabulous carp fishing.

6. Bletiere
Bletiere is a beautiful little venue in the heart of the French countryside where you can have a well stocked carp lake all to yourself and stay in a high quality gite on the banks of the lake.
A maximum of 4 anglers can fish the lake but we prefer up to 3 as that gives you options to move around a little. The gite can sleep up to 6 (a double bedroom, twin bedroom and sofa-bed downstairs).
Bletiere gets its name from the French word for wheat, ble, because it was once part of a large cereal farm. The 2½ acre lake sits in 16 acres of woods and fields giving you real seclusion.

7. Lillybelle
This lovely 5.5 acre lake is located in the Mayenne region and is a real find. Set in utterly tranquil surroundings, the lake is rectangular in shape and an island just off centre means that it is suited for up to 5 anglers.
Sold on an exclusive basis only it has all the amenities you could wish for. Nestled at one corner of the lake is a simple 2 bedroomed lodge with a fitted kitchen/diner & toilet and shower facilities. An eating area sits just outside and it’s possible to fish from the swim just next to the lodge.
